Rep. Slagh invites residents to join him at his upcoming morning office hours on Friday, Dec. 15.

Local office hours are an opportunity for constituents to meet face-to-face with Rep. Slagh to share their thoughts, questions, and concerns. No appointments are necessary to attend.

Although Democrats in majority forced the Legislature to adjourn for the year markedly early, Slagh said he is committed to continuing to fulfill his duties as state representative. The Legislature held its final votes for the year on Nov. 9.

“There are still so many issues that the people of Michigan are facing – adjourning in early November simply to further a political agenda is unacceptable,” Slagh said. “I want the people I represent to know I’m here to listen to their voices, push for their values, and stand up for what they need.”

His office hours will take place the following times and locations:

• From 8 to 9 a.m. at The Farmhouse Restaurant located at 430 W. Washington Ave. in Zeeland

• From 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Hudsonville City Hall located at 3275 Central Blvd.

• From 11 a.m. to noon at Big Apple Bagels located at 306 Baldwin St. in Jenison
